RESTORATIVE
MORNING RETREAT

A Half-Day Immersion for Deep Rest, Reset & Renewal

Step away from the noise of daily life and into a space of deep stillness and healing. Our signature +4-hour Restorative Retreat is a sanctuary designed to gently guide your body out of fight-or-flight mode and into a state of profound rest, balance, and rejuvenation.

Set in the tranquil surrounds of the Numala forest, this retreat is a complete reset for the nervous system-a place where healing begins not through effort, but through surrender.

Why Restorative?

Restorative yoga is a deeply nurturing practice, especially supportive for those navigating stress, fatigue, burnout, or recovery.

Unlike more active styles of yoga, restorative poses are held for 15 to 45 minutes using props and full-body support. With only five or six postures in the entire session, this practice gives you the rare opportunity to:
• Slow your heart rate
• Calm your nervous system
• Reduce adrenal fatigue
• Observe your thoughts without distraction
• Rewire unhelpful thought or behaviour patterns -gently, over time.

Each posture invites you into stillness, working different aspects of the body from spinal twists to gentle inversions -creating real physiological shifts, emotional release, and a powerful return to inner calm.

What you'll experience

Over the course of this 4-hour retreat, you’ll be guided through a carefully crafted sequence of nurturing practices to support your entire being:

• A full restorative yoga practice
• Gentle breathwork for nervous system regulation
• Guided meditation to ground and reconnect
• Journalling for reflection and clarity
• Mini massages for added relaxation
• Time immersed in the peaceful forest atmosphere

You’ll leave feeling lighter, clearer, and more at ease - in body, mind, and spirit.

Rachel Christie

When you find something you love, you want to share it with the world. That’s how Rachel feels about yoga and what inspired her to become a yoga teacher. Her own personal mantra is 'see the world through love and light'. Through yoga, meditation and mindfulness, taught from the heart, she hopes to spread a little more love and light throughout the community.

Rachel is particularly passionate about helping individuals take time out of their busy lives to reconnect with their body, mind and breath - using practical yogic tools. She has practiced yoga for many years and taught for more than four years across yoga studios, outdoor classes, and gyms. She has experience teaching gentle hatha, vinyasa, corporate, seniors, prenatal, mums and bubs, and family yoga classes, as well as women’s retreats. She teaches a very accessible and inclusive style and feels honoured to be able to share the many mental, spiritual and emotional benefits of yoga.
